Praise Report from the Philippines!

Hello dear family, friends, and co-members of the body of Christ!

We are thrilled to share with you an incredible journey that began when I (Julian), having visited in 2018, was once again invited to minister to the amazing congregation of CIF Makati in the vibrant capital city of The Philippines, Manila.

When we received this invitation, I strongly felt the importance of having my beloved wife, Debbie, minister alongside me. So with this shared calling, we embarked on the journey together to Manilla!

This mission held a unique significance, as CIF had faced heart-wrenching losses in the year 2020, including the devastatingburning down of their beloved church building. Lives, including that of the pastor's daughter and mother in law, were tragically lost, leaving behind wounds of grief and sorrow that cut deep into the community's heart.

God's intentions for this mission were multifaceted:

1. Tenderly addressing the wounds left by profound loss, providing comfort to those burdened by grief.

2. To empower and train leaders and the community to operate in the power of the Holy Spirit so their mission could be advanced!

3. To bring renewal and revival to the pastors of IPHC in the Philippines.

4. To provide unwavering support to CIF in their goal to plant 50 churches in the coming years.

5. To see the five fold ministry fully operate again within the Philippines.

Contained within the following pages is a vivid account of the awe-inspiring events and transformative encounters that unfolded during this mission.

These narratives bear testament to God's unyielding faithfulness and serve as a tribute to the unbreakable spirit of CIF Makati.

I am delighted to declare that the comprehensive mission we embarked upon has been undeniably fulfilled as you will read below.

However, since this mission was only partially funded, we'd like to make a heartfelt appeal (at the end of this report) for your assistance in covering this mission.

We are deeply grateful for the support received thus far. With your continued help, we can keep doing the work that God has assigned us to do.

Now, we invite you to delve into the report below and witness all the mighty things the Lord has accomplished!

With sincere gratitude and boundless anticipation,

Julian & Debbie Beek

Day 5-8 Monday, July 24th to Thursday, July 27th

Pentecost At The Mission Conference For Church Leaders

I'm eager to share the next part of our journey with you, one that took us to a missions conference where we were invited to speak on two evenings. This conference was all about equipping church leaders to plant and multiply churches, and let me tell you, it was a transformative experience.

Before we even arrived at the conference, Debbie and I spent time in prayer, seeking God's guidance on the message we were meant to deliver. And let me tell you, what we felt challenged with was nothing short of profound.

We strongly sensed that many of these pastors were exhausted due to the many responsibilities they had, and they had forgotten to nurture their personal relationship with God. Structures seemed to take precedence over the work of the Holy Spirit, leaving them tired, and that was a message we knew we had to share, no matter how heavy it was.

We understood the potential impact of this message – it had the power to ignite revival and renewal across all the churches they were leading. So, with determination and a sense of purpose, we set out on this important mission.

The journey itself was quite the adventure. At 4 AM, we embarked on a small bus, and we were joined by about 12 enthusiastic individuals from the CIF Church Manilla. Our destination? Pangasinan, where the Mission Conference with the church leaders was set to take place.

During the five-hour drive, we didn't just idle away the time. Oh no, we were busy training the church leaders from CIF Makati even more in the gifts of the spirit. The bus became a hub of spiritual growth and development as we delved into the prophetic gifts, sharing insights and experiences along the way.

Jesus Healed Our Guesthouse Host at Arrival in Pangasinan

Upon our arrival, Julian asked Pastor Thess to check with our guesthouse host if she needed any healing. Our host shared that she had been dealing with severe back pain.

The pain was intense and had been bothering her for a while. But in that moment, we knew that God's healing touch was at work. Without hesitation, we ministered to her, praying for her healing. And guess what? Right after we prayed, she looked at us with a smile and shared that the pain was completely gone. She said she felt 100% healed!

ItOur host's face lit up with joy and relief, and we couldn't help but be overwhelmed by the immediacy and effectiveness of God's touch.

Day 6 - Tuesday 25 July

Plowing The Ground For Revival

The first evening we had the privilege to speak at the mission conference. Before the event even began, we dedicated two hours to fervent intercession, seeking God's mighty presence and movement. We were determined to witness His hand at work.

As the evening unfolded, we shared a message that was deeply rooted in God's desires for His people. We emphasized the importance of relying less on human structures and embracing the power of God's Spirit. We longed to see the Kingdom demonstrated through signs and miracles, just as the New Testament reveals. And above all, we encouraged a return to intimacy with God.

With this message in our hearts, we invited people to come forward for a healing demonstration.

But to our surprise, no one stepped forward. Not willing to be discouraged, Julian chose to approach a man who seemed closed off, with folded arms and a weary expression.

Starting with a prophetic word, Julian's words seemed to light up the man's face. As the conversation continued, it was revealed that the man had an injured shoulder. Without hesitation, we prayed over him, and something incredible happened – he was instantly healed.

This miraculous healing seemed to break down barriers. The atmosphere shifted, and more people began to come forward. Julian and Debbie started ministering to others, and the presence of the Spirit was tangible as people responded to His touch.

One particularly poignant moment was when Julian gave a word to an elder pastor. The message was simple yet powerful: "It's not your fault." Tears welled up in the pastor's eyes as Julian embraced him, and we knew that God was touching deep places within his heart.

Throughout the evening, we witnessed a range of responses. Some were deeply moved and thanked us for delivering a message they needed to hear. Others, however, seemed offended and left abruptly. In the face of this, we prayed for those who had left, asking God to touch them too.

The next day brought an unexpected turn of events. The Baptist mission leader, one of those who had initially left in haste, found himself standing at the front. Suddenly, he began to weep and openly confess his sins before God. It was a moment of profound transformation, as walls came down and hearts were softened.

His apology for being emotional was unnecessary, for it was evident that God's work was at play. The victory was clear – hearts that were once hardened had been touched and transformed by the power of God's love.
